Vivo T5 Pro 5G Launches in India: A True Battery Monster Under ₹30k

Charging your phone once a day is old news. Vivo just launched the T5 Pro 5G in India starting at ₹29,999, and it packs an unbelievable 9,020mAh battery. Here is everything you need to know about this slim beast.

The long wait for a smartphone that can actually last for days is finally over. Vivo officially announced its new mid-range champion, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G, in India today. Starting at just ₹29,999, this phone is a massive jump over its predecessor, bringing flagship features to a budget-friendly price point.

Let’s look at why this phone is currently unbeatable in this category.

The Engineering Miracle: A 9,020mAh Battery

The headline feature of the Vivo T5 Pro 5G is undoubtedly its massive 9,020mAh battery. For context, most standard flagships only offer around 5,000mAh. What’s truly incredible is that Vivo managed to fit this huge capacity into a body that is only 8.25mm thick and weighs just 213 grams—feeling completely normal in hand.

With this huge battery, light users can expect up to 3 days of battery life, while heavy users can easily go 2 days without needing a charger. To help fill it up quickly, Vivo includes 90W fast charging support. They claim you can hit a 50% charge in around 37 minutes, which is fast given the massive size. Vivo also promises that the battery health durability will last for five years.

Super Bright OLED Display

Vivo did not compromise on the visual experience either. The T5 Pro features a beautiful 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display. It hits a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, making it one of the brightest screens in this segment, ensuring perfect visibility even under harsh sunlight. For smooth scrolling and responsive gaming, it supports a 144Hz refresh rate.

Gaming Performance and Cameras Under the hood, the phone runs on the capable Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo says the phone achieves around 1.2 million points on AnTuTu benchmarks. To keep the phone cool during heavy gaming sessions, they included a massive 7,000mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

The camera setup includes a reliable 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steady videos and sharp low-light photos. It is paired with a basic 2MP depth sensor on the back and a 32MP camera on the front for selfies.

The phone also carries premium IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, something usually reserved for high-end flagships.

India Price and Availability The Vivo T5 Pro 5G comes in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue color options.

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹29,999

The phone will go on sale starting April 21 via Flipkart, the Vivo India eStore, and local offline retail stores.

TecHoper's Take Packing a 9,020mAh battery into a slim, 213g phone that supports wireless charging and IP69 waterproofing is an absolute game-changer. Starting at ₹29,999, Vivo pricing this phone so aggressively makes it a dangerous competitor for brands like Poco, Realme, and Motorola. You are getting a flagship-level 5,000-nits screen, serious gaming performance, and a battery that never dies. The only minor weak point is the basic 2MP secondary camera, but if you want raw battery endurance and smooth performance, this phone is currently unbeatable in this price range.
