The leak confirms that Motorola is stepping away from boring glass panels and focusing heavily on unique textures and massive hardware upgrades for 2026.

While the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 plays it safe with basic plain colors, Motorola is experimenting with how the phone actually feels in your hand. The Razr 70 will launch in four distinct colorways, and each one gets a completely different finish on the bottom half:

• Sporting Green: Features a carbon fiber-style texture.

• Hematite (Gray): Comes with a soft, fabric-like finish.

• Violet Ice: Uses a wavy, 3D pattern.

TecHoper's Take Motorola is playing a very smart game here. The foldable market is getting crowded, and plain glass phones just don't look exciting anymore. Giving the Razr 70 actual textures like fabric and carbon fiber is a great way to make the phone feel premium without raising the price. Also, putting 18GB of RAM and dual 50MP cameras in a "budget" flip phone puts serious pressure on Samsung. If Motorola prices this right, it could easily become the best-selling flip phone of the year.
