The vivo X300 Ultra is Coming to India: Launch Date and Specs Leaked

After launching exclusively in China last month, the ultimate camera phone is finally crossing the borders. New leaks suggest that the vivo X300 Ultra will launch in India very soon. Here is everything we know about the launch date, the massive battery, and the crazy dual 200MP cameras.

Last year, vivo skipped the Indian market for its top-tier Ultra phone, leaving many camera enthusiasts disappointed. However, things are completely changing in 2026.

Recent leaks suggest that the highly anticipated vivo X300 Ultra is officially making its way to India. If you are planning to buy a premium flagship phone next month, you might want to hold your money for a few more weeks.

India Launch Date and Sales Timeline According to fresh leaks, the vivo X300 Ultra will launch in India on May 7.

The brand is not just bringing one phone, though. Rumors point out that a more affordable version, the vivo X300 FE, will also launch on the exact same day. If the launch happens on May 7, the leaks claim that the first official sale will start just a week later, on May 14. This means buyers will not have to wait too long to actually buy the device.

The Ultimate Camera Hardware

When you put "Ultra" in a phone's name, the cameras need to be special. The Indian variant of the X300 Ultra will carry the exact same hardware as the Chinese model.

The biggest highlight is the camera module on the back. It features a triple-camera system, but it includes two separate 200-megapixel sensors. Seeing dual 200MP cameras on a single phone is very rare, even for top-level flagships. For selfies and video calls, the front display holds a very sharp 50-megapixel camera.

Performance and Massive Battery The vivo X300 Ultra is not just about taking good photos. Under the hood, it is powered by the absolute best processor available today: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This means the phone will handle heavy games and 4K video editing without breaking a sweat.

On the front, you get a beautiful 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. To keep all this hardware running, vivo packed a massive 6,600mAh battery inside. When you need to charge it, the phone supports 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. You can expect a full charge to take just around 30 to 40 minutes.

Expected Pricing in India While the exact Indian price is still a secret, this phone sits firmly in the ultra-premium category. In China, the top model with the photography kit costs around 11,999 yuan (roughly ₹1,40,000). When it arrives in India, expect it to directly compete with the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

TecHoper's Take It is great to see vivo finally bringing its "Ultra" series back to India. Most brands keep their best camera phones locked to the Chinese market, so this is a huge win for Indian tech fans. Packing two 200MP sensors on the back is absolutely insane, and we cannot wait to see how it performs against the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Also, fitting a 6,600mAh battery into a normal smartphone body proves that the days of 5000mAh being the standard are finally over. If you have the budget, May 7 is definitely a date to watch out for!
